Mari, you were so right about me not wanting to look at fattening foods again after the 2 Load Days, or at least not any time soon. I had to force myself to stuff.
We didn’t eat lunch on Saturday, because we were still full from the late breakfast. MG grazed on the leftovers because he ordered the small portion of the CFS at Andy’s. I threw the last 6 oz away this morning. Saturday night, MG decided to cook one of my favorite dishes: Chicken Marsala de Fungi and I PORKED OUT! My dinner plate was piled about 4 inches high with pasta and 4 Chicken Breasts and Portobella Mushrooms. I ate the whole thing, plus Vodka shots for desert. Also, he used a whole cube of butter in the Pasta, so I know it was a perfect choice for my Load day.
Sunday morning I weighed in at 194 lbs. Up 2 lbs…GREAT! He proceeded to make breakfast which consisted of Sausage, Eggs, and Hash Browns. The Sausage was not very good. It tasted like it was freezer burned, so I only had about a patty’s worth; however, I made up for it by eating 4 fried Eggs and about 4 baby red potatoes worth of the HB, with Tarter and Ketchup. I didn’t think I was going to get through it, but I did…Skipped Lunch again. My friend, Tami Rae (who is also going on this diet with me) showed up and MG headed for home, back across the Cascades.
Tami and I were on a mission to stock up on foods and supplies we were going to need for this HCG Protocol. We jumped in the Dynasty, with my two little mutts, and headed for Hermiston, OR. NO TAX IN OREGON and it’s only about 35 miles South down Hwy 395. We decided to eat an early dinner (about 3:oo pm) at Fuddruckers Build-a-Burger. Their motto is “If you let them build it, they will come”… I had a 1/2 lb. Cheeseburger (Cheddar and Monteray Jack) with Guacamole and Bacon, slopped on plenty of Mayo, Relish, and Catchup…Potato wedges dunked in hot cheese and tarter sauce…but, don’t forget the Chocolate w/whipped cream Milkshake… I don’t usually drink milkshakes due to the weight it packs on my butt. I was so stuffed to the point where it was hard to breathe. Plus, all the food that I had from Saturday was kind of backing up. Now I know what my fellow HCG’ers mean when they say that this protocol has a tendency to make you a bit constipated. Sorry…but it’s true (I think that issue is resolving itself without any help). We proceeded to Bi-Mart, Walmart, Fred Meyer (Ellie Mae managed to fish out a Pork Chop and open a bag of Potato Chips in a matter of 5 minutes…She received Timeout in her kennel for that one), and home…I finished the evening off with a 5.3 oz bag of Peanut M&Ms, minus a couple small handfulls to Tami. Oh, and about 4 pieces of the sugar free Chick-o-Stix. I didn’t know they were made with Splenda when I bought them and I sure couldn’t taste the difference from what I remember them tasting like as a kid. I wonder if I could have one of those if I get to craving something sweet…hmmmm…
Woke up this morning and got on the scale. Wow! It said 197.6… I managed to pack on 5.6 lbs since Saturday morning, which means I gained all but 4 oz back of the weight I had lost two weeks prior by just not eating very much. I wasn’t hungry, so I didn’t eat. That just proves to me that the weight I lost (from 198 to 192) was all water weight…not fat. I had 2 cups of coffee with Stevia this morning, lots of water, and lunch at about noon. I had about a 3 oz piece of Tenderloin, a big fat 7.9 oz Tomato with salt and pepper, and a Grissini stick. Was a tiny bit hungry still, but just drank some water, and it went away. I’ll eat my Apple if I get hungry between now and dinner. It’s kind of hard to mix and match the food items to come up with the 500 calorie limit. I’ve never weighed food or counted calories before, so this is all a new learning experience for me. It should get easier after I do it for a week or so. Any suggestions would be appreciated and welcomed. I did order the HCG Diet App for my Ipad, and it helps. (Pew…Ellie Mae, my little Chiweiner, just passed the worst gas and she’s laying directly below me at my feet…again, sorry. TMI.)
I took down my measurements and am charging up my Videocam batteries to take my Before pictures. Tami is suppose to come help me with the picture taking. I’m giving her the leftover Chicken Marsala de Fungi since today will be her first Load Day. I forgot to finish it off yesterday, so it’s hers now.
Will post some more jabber later. It’s a beautiful sunny warm day here, so I’m going outside for a little Vitamin D…Later.
